The recent elections December 2010 turned into injustice, heavy oppression, fake processes from the side of the authorities. The situation is really bad. Many have been physically attacked, are in prison or face conviction and imprisonment for many years. Many Christian are involved: Orthodox, Protestant and Baptist. Pray for those in fear, for Belarus’ political leaders, for wisdom for Belarussian pastors and for the international community. Oppression should be challenged, but there appears to be a reluctance by some European leaders to stand firm. If you want to do more, there are various initiatives.
